Who I am
I'm Daniel De Luca — a hacker before it was a job title. I break systems to understand them, and I build the ones that should exist. Today I'm the founder and CEO of CyberQuake, a cybersecurity, compliance and AI firm based in Florence.
Where it started
In 1993 my grandparents gave me a 486 DX2. In 1999 I wrote my first code and put my first website on the web. In 2002 the curiosity turned into a method — ethical hacking. Everything since has been the same instinct at a larger and larger scale.
How I think
I start from the system, not the surface. Every system shows you what it wants you to see; the part that matters is always behind it. I take things apart to learn how they really work, then I use that understanding to build — or to defend.
What I build
CyberQuake is where most of that lives now: offensive and defensive security, legal compliance — GDPR, NIS2, whistleblowing — and artificial intelligence, three disciplines under one roof. I build systems that reason: agentic AI and autonomous tooling, at corporate and research depth. And there are other ventures taking shape — the same instinct, new problems.

Over the years I've helped 100+ small and mid-sized businesses and independent professionals go digital and expand their presence online — securely, and always at the frontier of the tools and techniques.
What I believe
Understanding systems. Breaking assumptions. Building what comes next. Technology was never just a tool to me — it's a way of thinking. The best defense is the one designed to withstand the shock, and the surest way to know what comes next is to build it.
